With a solid background as a highly respected FM Radio announcer (specifically with the Australian Radio Network on Mix FM) Reuben Mourad was warmly welcomed to The Weather Channel in October, 2007 as the Channel’s youngest presenter.
Reuben is a graduate of the highly regarded Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS). He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney. He has worked previously as a voice-over artist, voicing commercials and campaigns for television and radio around Australia.
Reuben has featured as ‘the voice’ of numerous Australian and international live events, including the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games; the 2007 FINA World Championships and the Sydney Kings during the Philips NBL Championships.
With his background in FM radio, Reuben has a passion for music, and is also an avid sportsman - actively involved with Australian water polo. Growing up in Sydney, Reuben’s summer is often spent enjoying one of the city’s great beaches.
