Geelong weather
Geelong is the second largest city in Victoria and is located on the shores of Corio Bay, to the southwest of Melbourne. It is part of the Central District forecast area of Victoria.
Geelong experiences warm summers and rather cool winters with cold fronts producing abrupt temperature falls around the middle of the year. January is the warmest month with an average temperature range of 13C to 25C, whilst July is the coolest time of the year with daily temperatures on average varying between 5c and 14C.
Rainfall peaks around September and October and tends to be least during the summer months. It is highly dependant on cold frontal activity that periodically tracks across the area.
Geelong’s average annual rainfall is 536mm.
