Katoomba weather

Katoomba is located in the Blue Mountains to the west of Sydney in the State of New South Wales.

It lies at 1030 metres above sea level and does see occasional snow falls, mainly in the winter months.

Nights are cold in winter, with temperatures regularly dipping below zero.

The coldest minimum temperature on record is -8.2 degrees Celsius in the month of June.

In  contrast, day time temperatures in summer can be quite high, with a record maximum of 37.6 degrees in the month of February.
