Terms and Conditions

By uploading any photographs, videos, texts or other content (Content) onto The Weather Channel (TWC) homepage and all its associated social media pages (including, but not limited to the TWC Facebook, Twitter and Youtube pages) (TWC Websites), you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions (which are subject to change by TWC from time to time without notice).

3. 2. Persons who upload Content must be over the age of 18, or if under the age of 18, have the permission of their parent or legal guardian.

7. a)       You own all rights in and to the Content and you agree not to enforce any moral rights you may have in respect of the Content;

9. b)       The Content does not contain any viruses or other material which may detrimentally affect the operation of TWC’s infrastructure;

11. c)       The Content does not breach any laws, regulations or the rights of any third party (including but not limited to, intellectual property and privacy) and does not contain anything which may be reasonably deemed to be objectionable, profane, insulting, inflammatory or defamatory; and

13. d)       You have not altered or modified the Content (either digitally or otherwise) in any way so as to affect the accuracy of the Content.

15. 4. Where possible, TWC will credit you as the source of the Content, though any such credit will be at the sole discretion of TWC.

19. 5. Use by TWC of your Content will be subject to a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and worldwide licence, allowing TWC to reproduce, publish, communicate, broadcast or show the Content to the public by the Promoter in all media for all purposes.

21. 6. You agree to indemnify TWC (and its officers and employees) against any loss or damage that is suffered as a result in whole or in part from:

23. a)       the use of the Content; or

25. b)       any breach by You of these terms and conditions.

27. 7. You acknowledge that TWC will have certain personal information of yours in order to enable TWC to contact you regarding the Content. This information will be used solely for that purpose and will not be passed on by TWC to third parties.
